How much weight can the laundry line hold?
The Easy Hause Retractable Laundry Line can hold up to 20 kg when correctly installed. This gives you plenty of capacity for everyday washing such as shirts, trousers, towels and other clothing.
How long is the line?
The line extends up to 5 metres, giving you plenty of drying space when you need it. Once you're finished, simply retract it back into the compact wall-mounted unit.
Do I need to drill into the wall?
Not necessarily. The main unit and opposite bracket can be screw-mounted for a secure installation, or installed using the nail-free adhesive supplied with the product on a suitable surface. The line then pulls out from the main unit and hooks onto the opposite bracket.
What happens if the line stops retracting properly?
The unit has a tightening wheel that allows you to adjust the tension of the line. If the line becomes loose or doesn't retract as tightly over time, you can use the wheel to tighten it again.
Is it difficult to install?
No. The system consists of the main retractable unit and an opposite mounting bracket. Once mounted securely to suitable surfaces, you simply pull the line across and hook it into the opposite bracket.
Can I use it outside?
Yes, it can be used in suitable outdoor areas such as covered patios and balconies, as well as indoors. For the longest lifespan, I'd avoid unnecessary prolonged exposure to harsh weather.
Is this suitable for apartments or small homes?
Yes. That's one of its biggest advantages. Because the line retracts when you're finished, you don't need a permanent washing line or bulky drying rack taking up floor space.
